In his role as Senior Vice President of Evernorth Sales, Michael leads the Evernorth Growth Office (ENGO). Michael is responsible for driving a strategic sales approach that connects our suite of solutions across the Evernorth portfolio to make it easier to connect our solutions with our clients. Michael pushes the team to think through the lens of the market and focus on how we work with our clients in a differentiated way to solve problems.

In his 14 years with Evernorth, Michael has held a variety of leadership roles across the Express Scripts PBM. In his role as Vice President of Consultant & Producer Strategies for Evernorth, Michael was accountable for building Evernorth brand awareness, influencing product integration roadmaps, driving continued PBM sales success and creating new growth pipelines. Prior to joining the ENGO LT in June 2022, Michael served as the Vice President & General Manager for the Express Scripts Government Markets & myMatrixx division for 7 years; this role included the pursuit and win of the Tpharm5 (DoD) contract as well as the acquisition and integration of the myMatrixx PBM. Before joining the PBM LT, Michael spent 6 years on the Express Scripts Technology Leadership team with responsibility for multiple application development teams. Prior to joining Express Scripts, Michael was a Partner with Accenture.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing & Advertising from Bradley University. He lives in St. Louis, MO and enjoys doing just about anything that gets him outdoors and spending time with his wife, Kerry, their two sons, Will and Andrew, and their miniature Schnauzer, Georgia. Michael is very active in the St. Louis community, and currently serves as the Chairman of the Board for the Greater Missouri Alzheimer’s Association.
