Vontrelle Roundtree, MD, MPT, is a board-certified family physician with more than 20 years of experience in the health care industry. Since joining the MDLIVE’s physician network in 2018, Dr. Roundtree has been recognized for both clinical and operational excellence, specifically her significant contributions to MDLIVE’s ongoing physician relations, clinical quality, and process improvement efforts.

In addition to currently serving as Associate Chief Medical Officer at MDLIVE, Dr. Roundtree serves as the Chair of the Medical Executive Committee, Lead Medical Director for Employed Physicians, and Interim Chair of Quality. Dr. Roundtree is responsible for managing and supervising all aspects of care delivery for MDLIVE, including quality guidelines and physician credentialing, training, education, engagement, and growth and development. She also works closely with the MDLIVE product team to continue to expand MDLIVE’s capabilities and ensure the company is delivering a superior patient experience.

Dr. Roundtree earned her medical degree from East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine and her Master of Physical Therapy from Medical University of South Carolina.
