Gail Bridges, PharmD, is Senior Director and Clinical Practice Lead for Accredo. She is responsible for providing the clinical vision and oversight that fuels Accredo’s patient care model and programs. She and her team serve as clinical subject matter experts for specialty therapies including a focus on establishing clinical protocols and engagement models to support patient interactions and drive optimal health outcomes, developing research and reporting to demonstrate successful outcomes and engaging and educating account management, sales, pharmacy staff and plan sponsors on clinical elements of specialty patient care.

Dr. Bridges has a 15-year history with Accredo’s Clinical Product team. Prior to Accredo, Dr. Bridges worked in academic medical settings providing pharmaceutical care to her patients. She has extensive practice experience in acute and chronic care areas such as transplant, hepatology, neurology, anticoagulation, and rheumatology. In addition, she spent almost two decades serving as adjunct faculty for the University of Tennessee where she taught and mentored numerous pharmacy and medical students as well as resident trainees.

Dr. Bridges earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. After which, she completed an ASHP accredited pharmacy practice residency at the Memphis, TN Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
