Bloomfield, Conn., Sept. 4 2024 – Evernorth Health Services, the pharmacy, care and benefits solutions division of The Cigna Group (NYSE: CI), has named Tony Colistra president of MD Live and Evernorth Workplace Care, effective Aug. 30. In this role, Colistra will be responsible for growing Evernorth’s virtual care capabilities and reach and onsite workplace solutions, all anchored within the organization’s mission of changing health care for the better.
“Today, it can take more than three weeks on average between when a new patient schedules an appointment and when they’re seen by the physician1,” said Colistra. “Societally, we can and must do better, and I am thrilled to be leading our MD Live and Evernorth Workplace Care teams as we work to help individuals access care in new and different ways and strive for better health outcomes.”
Colistra joins Evernorth from LetsGetChecked – a virtual care company that provides at-home diagnostics, genetic screenings, virtual consultations and more – where he most recently served as senior vice president and market growth and business development lead. Prior to LetsGetChecked, Tony held leadership positions at Galileo and Livongo (now part of Teladoc Health), both of which are focused on delivering virtual health care solutions to patients, as well as XLHealth Corporation. He also served as a member of Cigna Healthcare’s national accounts team for 16 years, exiting in 2009.

Colistra attended Colgate University in New York, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He’ll work out of the Bloomington, Minn., office.
